About the Lead Software Project Engineer job

At APD we love all things tech! This is an amazing permanent opportunity to lead a software refresh project of one of our key software products using the latest Microsoft tools and technology. By keeping our products up to date with changing technologies you can help to secure the future of our software products in live operation for years to come. You will have the autonomy to make decisions and scope the future of our software technology. You will have expert support from the team here to enable you to succeed.

What you will own / do and how you will grow

·         Lead the refresh project

·         Setting frameworks and creating C# libraries

·         Set an example to others by writing truly great code

·         Assign tasks and deadlines to other team members

·         Create documents and specifications

·         Communicate project updates to internal and external stakeholders

What you have already done

·         Extensive knowledge of C#

·         Experience of project leadership, decision making and risk analysis

·         Utilised your great communications skills when managing stakeholders

·         Waterfall and Agile experience would be advantageous
