We’re on the move to a two-storey building at the heart of the city of Hull which has undergone a £2m redevelopment to create a stunning, purpose-designed environment allowing us to continue to deliver cutting-edge software to our customers.
Our new home is a 15,000sq ft ultra-modern tech hub with a traditional exterior that will be filled with our team of over 100 employees.
Rhiannon Beeson, Commercial Director of APD, who has led the relocation project, said: “This move sets us up for the next chapter of APD’s evolution and we’re really excited by the opportunities it offers.
“The building is being completely transformed, specifically to meet our needs. It will represent who we are and provide the first-class working environment our people deserve.
She said the new offices would offer a superb working environment in a thriving area, offering a host of lifestyle benefits for staff.
“The building has so much character and personality. It’s not just a bland, new-build office – it’s a fusion of old and new and we think our people will love it,” she added.
The building has been designed to promote collaborative working and will feature “focus pods” and social spaces.
Housing our industry-leading development teams the new building feature several dedicated test labs, which has quadrupled in size, meaning more equipment, more people to facilitate the build of world class software.
We have dedicated learning and collaboration zones, to improve knowledge sharing and insight across the teams and our wider network of NPS resources.
Our support team continue to grow and are still available 24/7 – 365 through various methods such as telephone, webchat and email.
The building will have KCOM’s Lightstream ultrafast broadband, to support rapid software sharing and data transmission, and state-of-the-art video conferencing facilities, enabling APD staff to have virtual meetings with clients around the world.
The next chapter of APD will be one of growth and innovation – and we look forward to being on that journey together.
